I too am stupefied that he received a single vote. And yet, he won.

I don’t disagree that she faced insurmountable odds and many (but not all) criticisms levied against her had misogynistic and/or racist undertones. The bar was higher for her—most certainly. But are you suggesting that the election was rigged? You sound like them.

I also agree with the article. She met the big moments of the campaign, the convention and the debate, but languished at every other turn. As for her resume, it looks good on paper, but the general population has no idea what she did as AG (or VP for that matter). She failed to make her own case.

The one major interview she did for the last election included no direct answers to the posed questions. It was WILD to watch. And then I went to the voting booth and cast my ballot for her.

I think she’s absolutely qualified! That’s not my point. Have you listened to HER speak on her own record? I voted for her for all of those roles. Don’t get it twisted. LOL. Seriously.

If she ran for CA Governor, won, demonstrated outstanding leadership and clarity of vision for the people of California at that scale, then, perhaps. If she faced her critics with engaging responses and answered questions confidently about inconsistencies in her past positions, then, perhaps.
