In an interview this month, Premier David Crisafulli did offer a defence of the board overhaul & merits of appointments. But the scale & nature of them has raised concerns from ex-board members & a past conservative premier.

In an interview this month, Premier David Crisafulli did offer a defence of the board overhaul & merits of appointments. But the scale & nature of them has raised concerns from ex-board members & a past conservative premier.
The government didn't respond to a series of questions about why some appointments were not announced by the relevant minister, and its openness to calls for reform, instead giving only a one sentence statement through a spokesperson noting it had promised a fresh start and was "doing exactly that".

Of the at least 570 appointments and reappointments signed off by the Crisafulli government, we’ve found 21 people with explicit LNP ties. (Former MPs, candidates and party execs).
13 have not been named in a ministerial update and 10 are previously unreported.
