Today is #stirupsunday in our house.

We make xmas puddings for friends and family. This year only 6, which still requires a production line setup for optimisation

I spent today on an e-Omnium and i cant quite believe how great it was

Today i brought back another cargo bike to the island

Some issues in that its a bit big for island bike infrastructure but most drivers seemed patient enough with me on the main roads (and looked on with "WTF" faces)

a yellow front loading cargo bike. its a Larry vs Harry Bullitt (acoustic). it is unloaded except for an orange black and green bag, and some old innertubes as cargo straps a 1m high barrier made from scaffolding with some disaster Relief Trials flags. One person is hoiking some sandbags over it helped by another cyclist the other side. to the left I'm lifting a yellow cargo bike on my shoulder with bag on my back. there is a black cargo bike parked up next to me. i think this is when i broke the bread sticks

a public map/signpost on Ryde esplanade. the map depicted a beautiful historic town on the beach with a pier, but is heavily sun damaged and most of the town is blackened, with the beach surviving but sea also blackened, making it look like a smouldering pile of destruction

We have some amazing cycling infrastructure on the Isle of Wight, and some... gaps
an overgrown section of cycle path with edges crumbling into overgrowth and central section with an enormous crack on top of a previous repair close up picture of crack with my hand for scale. it is a big crack at least the width of my thumb a different section of previous repairs cracked again another close up with hand for scale, showing the crack is exactly below the repair from last year
