Followed shortly by a price hike to support the new feature nobody asked for.

I've been self hosting on Plex for half a year and it's been great! Get to support artists by buying their albums instead of a monthly subscription.

Cost of folding devices aside, a stylus is also a minimum requirement in my opinion for this kind of device.

I had Bust-A-Move 4 on the PlayStation 1. I always just called this game Bubbles though (I was quite young!)

A lot of the gameplay sounds are somehow still engrained into my memory!

"However, the connections that are already established won't be interrupted" - I thought that was true for NSGs because they are flows but I would have thought changing a firewall rule could deny the connection once the allow was removed by JIT.

Something for me to double check later 😅

I get that it's probably been trained on a different task but it's slightly misleading to say it's the robot's first day at work then at 1 min 20 into the video say and show that it's been assisted by someone in a VR headset.

It's the first day at work; as a manufacturing robot or an actor?

A lot of yesterday's effort was spent setting up a private container registry and occasionally fighting Ubuntu's stub resolver not resolving names properly...

There are a few years of my childhood where there are no photos of me. An external hard drive decided to pack up.

I've not yet had a disaster but I'm still dependent on one site (my house) being totally fine for some of my data. Looking into a solution this year for the family.

I haven't felt comfortable spending money after I spent years saving for a house deposit.

I'm a fan of this! While I don't miss my first car as a whole, which only had knobs and buttons, my current car mostly has screen controls and I do miss that.

Frustrating that there are controlls but not the ones you need!

I think the "screenification" isn't something that would happen overnight for established car manufacturers.
I think they'd have to evolve their design language over time to not spook their customers... Maybe technical capability too 🤷🏻‍♂️

Engineers, not user experience designers. With the go ahead from finance people as it "would reduce manufacturing costs".

That's my hunch.

If we were in a simulation and "the system" rebooted, how might we perceive that? 🤔

Make Pluto great again?

I don't think that'll happen to be honest. But I probably should make my own bingo card...

Worked around by using Start-Job instead of the cmdlet's -AsJob

Any particular part? 👀

Phi is the name of the model. 4 is the version.
Multimodal means it doesn't just read/write text. It can also process other (but not necessarily all) formats.

Oh, I have been! It's my default choice over chat. I quite like it. It is like reviewing a PR.

I still haven't tried Claude yet but I'm sure I will do within the next few days when 4o doesn't quite hit the mark.
