Call me a neolib (I’m not) but I think there’s a bridge that can be built between the Abundance Dem types and the populist left. A new new deal coalition of sorts.

It seems like it only works if we get money out of politics first though. Which is obviously an uphill battle.

So much talk about immigration lately but barely any heat on the corporations that profit the most off of undercutting American workers.

Instead mega prefers to be racist about it.

The more left leaning people that leave X, the worse community notes get as it’s only being voted on by righties.

If your mental health can’t take it that’s fine, but leaving for good is just letting them win.

MAGA is not real populism. Cry about the establishment but then push to lower taxes on the ultra wealthy.

These guys crying about debanking keep leaving out how the GOP has kept cannabis companies from accessing banking services. But cry the tears cause some crypto shit coin scam lost its bank account.

Odd how the maga folks call everyone else a snowflake when they’re the most thin skinned people on X. Beat them with facts by showing irrefutable data and they’ll block you after getting the last idiotic word in.

The amount of people that think violent crime in major cities is higher now than it was in the 80s-90s is wild. Such doomerism. They’re just more plugged in now thanks to apps like this.

Way too many cat pics on this platform. I prefer animals that actually like me and won’t eat my face off while it’s still warm.

⚠️Plastic cookware should not be used. Period. Especially BLACK PLASTIC cookware, that often mixes in toxic recycled electronic waste materials. DISPOSE OF ALL PLASTIC COOKWARE, especially if black colored plastic ones. Pass it on to your family.

My high schooler had to pick a topic for a medical ethics essay and he chose abortion. This should go over well in Utah.

I always looked at Covid masks like a condom or something else that’s not perfect but can reduce risk. The biggest issue is people look at stuff like that as a zero sum game and not just a helpful tool. Mandates weren’t the play though imo.

Righties living in blue states have a magical view of what red state living is like.

Megachurches buying up all the cool real estate and historic places isn’t as fun as you might think.
