I’d be interested to see how much money the WRU has spent on consultations in the last 24 months. You can talk about cutting flowers out of the budget but if you’re just replacing that with consultations that are outdated 2 days after publication then what’s the point.

I’m convinced that it’s all a shadow company designed to film an in the thick of it style series of Moffat in the WRU headquarters.

Don’t think the scarlets should foster a culture of failure, seems more fitting that the Ospreys should get a player who’s only back because he couldn’t make the cut in a top level sport.

The state of the forwards replacements, after all the grief over the geography six and that’s the quality of the bench. A bunch of second/third choice forwards.

I’ll tell you what the true outrage is, there’s almost definitely a lock in the Leinster depth chart who’s cruelly had their lions place snatched away. All that work in the travelling reserve for Zebre snatched away for JK Rowling tier invention of a name.

For myself it’s Scot’s and Irish fans ignoring everything that they said about the geography six to justify this. The double standards is crazy.

I’ve said it on the subreddit but I genuinely think Welsh rugby is dead, academies shot, most of our best U20’s are from English academies, 2 regional teams already being picked apart for players. We need the WRU to become competent overnight and even that is probably too late.

The Ben Thomas being the form Welsh back doesn’t make sense to me, especially not enough to prioritise him at 12 and make another 12 a 13

I’m worried about the fact that most of our star performers are mostly from English academies. Doesn’t seem sustainable for the future. Who would’ve thought that an academy system consisting of a part time PE teacher might not function as a professional academy

Wasn’t a fan of some of the selections, backrow felt too lightweight with both Mann and Macleod, Ben Thomas at 12 felt like we had 2 10s on the pitch for periods, and not in a good way. Johnny Williams out of place. But fundamentally the mindset is broken and I don’t know how you fix that.
