I was keen to visit Coalway Junior School after their recent trip to Parliament! Hearing their highlights and seeing their enthusiasm was fantastic.
Inspiring young voices and supporting political engagement will always be a priority for me.
Thank you, Coalway Junior School, for having me!

I was pleased to attend the drop-in event on Access to Disability Equipment.
Across the UK, the system for providing community and medical equipment needs urgent attention to ensure disabled people get the support they need.
The event launched a new APPG report on these barriers.

⚖ No prisoner should ever be released in error.
I’ve written to the Justice Secretary over reports of prisoners, including serious offenders, being mistakenly released.
These errors harm public trust, distress victims, and put communities at risk.

🚜 OVER FARM 🚜
For 40+ years, Over Farm has been at the heart of our community—creating memories for families near and far. I met Rees yesterday and saw the amazing work he and his team do. From pumpkin picking to family events, their dedication is clear. 🎃 We’re so lucky to have them in the Forest!

It was an absolute honour to meet Hayley and Harry yesterday to discuss the formation of a new All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) to support parent carers.

Yesterday, I asked the Deputy Prime Minister, David Lammy, about the damage caused by 14 years of Tory cuts. This isn’t just about the incident that left so many of us worried over the weekend. It’s about years of underfunding that have left our prisons overstretched and our communities vulnerable.

I recently had a fantastic meal at the Balti Hut in Coleford!
We are lucky to have such strong hospitality here in the Forest, with plenty on offer.
It’s so important that we get out and support local hospitality, helping businesses like these continue to thrive here in the Forest of Dean!

A lot of people ask, “Why vote Labour?” Here’s why…
With a Labour Government, Schools Succeed!
The Forest of Dean will not be forgotten under Labour. The Secretary of State for Education, the Schools Minister, and I all share a strong belief in the education on offer here in the Forest.
