I found one of those clever viral statements on the internet that said “your weekends are their childhood” that helps me in these times. Doesn’t mean you’re not right that we need our breaks to stay sane 😂.

I appreciate the civil counterpoint but he says “we could still have a functioning economy” and said “money is made up” not that he wanted a moneyless society. That’s why I felt I should waste my time arguing with someone on the internet who’s obviously far too concerned with people’s genitals.

The majority of Americans are middle class or worse. If we made it cheaper to build houses there would be more demand for the trades which would generate jobs. I don’t know how gender politics plays in this discussion but I’m afraid to tell you the US gov has funded WAY worse.

Actually we already live in a world where we subsidize plenty of things. You assuming communism when he says “houses could be free” only shows the two extremes. We could subsidize wood instead of corn etc. But the govt doesn’t care about rising costs for middle class. It wants a working class again
