The best part of 1st Chapter to me is how it recaptures the same warm feeling I had while playing through the original, 4 years ago. It's so pleasant, and I'm so happy Falcom decided to go back to the start.

Finally got around to beating Ys X: Nordics
A wonderful game and the best Ys game you could ask for after Ys IX. While I don't love this game as much as Ys IX or maybe Ys VIII, there's a lot this game does better. Maybe Proud Nordics next year will bump up my opinion of this

Finally got around to beating Ys X: Nordics

I'm 16 hours into Ys X: Nordics
So far, I am in LOVE with the combat, it's easily the best part about the game and a huge improvement over VIII and IX. Not as much as a fan of the exploration however, IX is still supremely good in that regard.

To be completely honest, I only touched the story mode for Splatoon 2. So my time was more with the story mode. It was fun, I liked the structure of it all. This was a good story mode. The story itslef wasn't intereting to me however
