While I like how this would generate extra income from the well off, it would be massively unpopular due to the number of traditionally normal working/middle class jobs that now sit in the 40% bracket due to years of fiscal drag caused by not moving the tax thresholds.

Yep, I have the same conversation with my Utd supporting BIL regularly. Doesn't seem to matter which manager is in charge or how much is spent on the squad, the club has become a graveyard for talent. Something is poisoning it, and I'm here for it! 😂

Just watched the pod, and aside from it being informative it just leaves me a bit sad that football has got like this. I get there need to be rules to stop clubs going bust but these rules now just seem to stifle any ambition for none "Super League" clubs.

With a bit of luck they've moved all the dinosaurs into a separate block, where together they can reminisce about the days of heavy muddy pitches and the benefits of good old long ball football 😁

😂 I didn't notice! I just walk along the row until I see someone I recognise and stop. I'm pretty sure in one of the CL games you helped us find our seats because someone else was in the wrong place 😂 I honestly can't remember which way the numbers run. We've got to move 2 lower to our current ones

I've been to OT as an away fan in both cups, the PL, and now in their hospitality and seen nothing but losses. We're genuinely cursed. I haven't got underpants lucky enough for their place!!
