A very interesting article. I love writing by hand, the weight of my pencil or pen, the feel of the paper under my hand, the sound of my thoughts being transcribed…im sad people aren’t getting this connection as much, or in some cases at all…
Signature moves: are we losing the ability to write by hand?
We are far more likely to use our hands to type or swipe than pick up a pen. But in the process we are in danger of losing cognitive skills, sensory experience – and a connection to history

I went I into this piece thinking/hoping that these color relationships would form, and I was really excited when they did.

I also really like the gesture. I’ve been actively bringing more loose mark making into my work.
