I genuinely want to see this “too strong” Teklo @bryango.bsky.social had in testing and how far away it is from current teklo. Especially when Zen was both allowed/released so close to him.

This is also not happening I heard from somewhere James white was asked when his next support would be and they said “set 18” 31 expansion slot cards in super slam and somehow nothing goes to Teklo. His last support was in MST this is over a year.

I genuinely don’t think the deck is fixable, the cost curve and gameplay loop at the moment are just fundamentally broken. Spending 3 cards for a 5 value play is just appalling. It would require a full rework from the ground up.

Got rid of 2 gone in a flashes with well timed pummels. They then just nuked me from over 35. They won on 22, complete non game after the combo happened. Again an interaction issue.
R3 Gravy - L
Turn 1 Wailer, couldn’t clear it and got hit by it 4 times. They won on 29.

My ultimate goal is a max rarity teklo deck (ignoring stuff like alpha CnCs) my current grail is a marvel singularity.

The issue is the amount of support both Maxx and teklo need as a whole. I was playing teklo last night and it’s a non deck. Absolutely awful to play.

To add to this, the power level difference between mech and other classes isn't really excusable at this point. Assassin has access to bonds of agony, mantle and just a nick which are all on their own very above rate. Far easier than any mech payoffs.

The issue is with the existence of CYB durdle decks there are counters but CYB and the number of runeblade defensive tools I think is going to lead to a pretty awful meta unless accounted for. Florian has 20 4 blocks. That’s insane.

I’m going to have a short break from playing until the bans/high seas as I don’t want to touch this meta when Florian is in the pool untouched as he is right now.

Oh yeah enigma was also incredibly problematic and should have had some kind of ban along the way. But instead she kept getting more insane defensive tools

The issue with flicker wisp is it meant she had no real weakness as she could combo through slower fatigue matchups even if they were meant to counter her in some way.
