...whether we have the skilled workers, raw materials, infrastructure etc - the *real resources* - to carry out the huge upgrading, expansion and repairs to our water and sewage systems. Money is not the issue. 3/3

...unsustainable debt. Shares in their companies are worthless and shareholders have invested badly. And, secondly, even if the government had to 'buy' these entities, it can always pay, using the power afforded to it by our sovereign fiat currency. The only question we need to ask is... 2/3
