In Trumpian math I believe we’d say 75% dementia and 92% low IQ. Dementia/IQ combo like no one’s never seen before.

I love how when he tries to cover for the fact that he has no idea what he’s
saying, he always pretends to marvel at something. “When they get out they adopt [sic] to the general population, like it’s become second nature. It’s amazing!” Whaat? He’s amazed that Christians manage to fit into society?

Always having to keep that horrible little smile when she talks.

And do you really need Novocaine when you get a root canal? Maybe autistic libs need it but not strong MAHA men.

The most obvious theme of the Illiad is showing how the hubris of Achilles leads to his downfall. So, a criticism of the destructive arrogance of the “alpha,” not a celebration of his manliness. Also the “princess” that Achilles actually does fight for is not Briseis but his gay lover Patroclus.

Well you can’t say they aren’t driving a hard bargain. “We demand one year extension to the subsidies if you want our votes. Final offer!”
“No you say? Okay, demand withdrawn, you win. Sorry if we inconvenienced you in any way.”

Interesting. And his approval rating among those not as concerned about the economy began at 40% (and stayed there). Very low. So he won the election almost entirely on the expectation he would improve the economy/inflation.

Is corruption in the Trump administration a central concern for you?

Not all gyros wear capes either.

I first read it as “concepts of a man.” (Didn’t see the TrumpCare part.) I kind of like that too.

I just want to note that I had a similarly excellent experience watching these guys election coverage. Even Paul Krugman showed up at one point.

If it was dill cheese I will pay (pay pay)

I thought it was weird too. And dismissing some analyses as being too complicated for most people to follow?? Real ‘Murcans don’t need no fancy statistics!

I think that’s a variously attributed Chinese proverb, not something Confucius said. Regardless, how is Trump in favor of teaching men how to fish? By eliminating the Department of Education?

Is that what they are calling the “facade” of a building these days?

In the meantime, the NYT sees “potential ethical conflicts” here. Wow! And I’m guessing little Mike Johnson has been too busy to hear about this.

They do think this! There was this amazing sentence from the editorial: “Extreme as he is in many ways, he moved the Republican Party toward the center on several key issues. “
Apparently, Trump has been able to win because of his centrism!

The NYT is doing its best. They described it as “brown liquid.”

Keep adding that new data, Elliot. In my (smallish) town, there were literally 3 or 4 times as many people as for the last No Kings.

Not sure but Soros is going to go broke paying all those people. Not to mention all the work he had to put in making all those signs.
October 18, 2025 at 6:11 PM
How is he supposed to remember if he said “I love Hitler” or not? Who can remember such things? I mean, he might have said “I really like Hitler.” But “I love Hitler”? That sounds doctored. Hoax!
October 15, 2025 at 3:18 AM
No! It remains true regardless of new information. It’s what we in philosophy call a priori knowledge.
October 13, 2025 at 2:51 PM
He also said yesterday that Senator Blumenthal should be jailed for his questioning of Pam Bondi. His threats have become so normalized I’ve barely seen any mention of this one.

Nate Cohn is god awful. Never fails to take the “Dems are in trouble and getting worse!” angle.
