Dog: *comes in from outside*
Me: "Hey buddy?"
Dog: *walks into the room*
Me, holding piece of plastic: "What was this before you ate it?"
Dog: *turns around and walks away*

This is the second time in two days my dog has taken a remote control. Yesterday it was undamaged, but no such luck today.

Chicago is one of the densest, most walkable cities in America.

Here is the Google Maps walking path from my old apartment to the nearest full-service supermarket, an ALDI.

It's just under a mile each way. Walking or transit, it's a 20-minute trip, assuming the bus is on time, which it isn't.
