Certainly chimes with what I hear, particularly if you live outside London, opportunities are very thin on the ground for graduates.

Yup. Absolutely bizarre political positioning. Can't see Starmer using it in a similar way to Carney in Canada though. But if progressives are canny (and worked together) they could make a huge impact exploiting this. I mean "traitors" isn't exactly a good look (except the TV programme 😉)
