Well, with the official logo unveiled, figured I might as well share the concepts I did for a #CBJ 25th Anniversary logo during my internship last summer. Based off their 2000-07 logo. Needs some cleaning up on the linework but I think it's a really strong core!

I know I’ve thanked them countless times on here, but I really can’t thank @jasonduignan.bsky.social, Audra Sordyl, Marcus Stephenson, and everyone else on the team for giving me a chance. It was the welcoming environment under 224 that made working there such a pleasure all summer. 2/3

A year ago today, I started my internship with the CBJ’s Creative Services. It still doesn’t feel real. From working Draft Night & seeing my own graphic go live, to drinking from a souvenir cup I designed opening night, and every item I delivered coming to life. I wouldn’t trade for the world! 1/3

Blues are up in the Ideal Alternates series! I’ve done this one before, but it just works so well: a navy version of the Gretzky jerseys with royal blue instead of red. So good.

The Islanders are up in the Ideal Alternates series with a mashup of several previous alternates: The color blocking of their orange 2002-07 third, the striping design of their (overhated) 2011-14 third with the side diamonds, and the logo from their 2018-24 third. Plus teal!
