They say your first post should let the world know what you’re about.
Me, every morning: (Hey, something cool happened, or I baked something neat, or I thought of a funny quip, I should go on Bluesky and —

Oh.)

Faces covered, armed to the teeth, marauding through a city park on horseback. This is a terror campaign—one that, on Friday, got a $170B bump in funding. That’s a lot of hay.

California schools wake up to find $928M of their money held hostage for undisclosed reasons. I suppose they expect us to hold a bake sale now.
The Trump administration is currently holding hostage nearly $7B in federal funding for K-12 schools--funding that was supposed to be distributed yesterday.

They've stolen $80M from Wisconsin students and teachers alone. How much have they stolen from your state?

What is common knowledge in your field but shocks outsiders?

It’s about damn time. The WGA was telling the studios to do this two years ago. If your business model relies on theft of copyrighted material, it is not a legal business.

I kicked the Little Free Bakery back up yesterday with some almond croissants.

It’s amazing how much a box of free pastries confuses people walking by. A friend described the enterprise as “subversive mischief”. I agree. Down with capitalism, up with butter.

Why didn’t Oda Mae Brown get her own CBS procedural in the aughts? It’s a Paramount property for heaven’s sake. And yes, I’ve posted about this before, and I will keep posting about this until I get a satisfactory answer.

We are now in bucket list territory. I put my heart and soul into this one and I can’t wait to share it. I sincerely hope #booksky will have me.
