If something fake is posted as if it is real,
1. It needs to be taken down
2. A notification needs to go to everyone who engaged with the post
3. There needs to be a permanent scar on the account. Something like the account doesn't show up in Discover, or after three strikes you can't post at all.

The Milky Way over Craig Goch dam in the Elan Valley, mid Wales. The lights under the bridge are from a car the other side of the reservoir. I absolutely love our night sky, it makes me realise how truly insignificant we really are.
