Ramboard is my Jamboard. Love this surface - it sits somewhere between a paper and a thin board. It’s bumpy and fun to spread paint on. Quick cell phone pic #artist #abstractart

A place I’ve exhibited in Brooklyn many times just burned down and all the art and studios were destroyed. 150yr old building and 150yr old wood that just lit up. The exhibit was destroyed as well as artist studios. GoFund if you can, thanks: www.gofundme.com/f/support-br...

Just four pairs of oversized jeans drying on a deck railing, place unknown in 2025 America. They have no idea of the descent into fascism of the country in which these homeowners reside. They only want the morning sun.

Starting a work on heavy weight Arches cold press. Feels good to be back in studio. I needed a long period to process the trauma of this moment everywhere on the planet but I’m rising. #artist #abstractpainter #artist

Happy Sunday everyone. Here's some flowers from our local farmers market and my own garden. There is still some beauty in the world (albeit not easy to find these days).

In two weeks, I'm going to decide if I smoke this J which someone started at our party last weekend (lips my own). I may or I may not. I don't know right now. I will know in two weeks. Stayed tuned, this is important. Two weeks...

My oldest son. About 14yrs old and a gifted pianist (still is). Jurists from Europe came to the states to judge competitions that he was in and said that he should go to Julliard School. He didn't go there but did graduate from Fairfield University in Ct. Still plays piano, banjo and paints. ❤️

One slightly good, not bad thing today...I got Tulips in my kitchen. I got them two days ago but just noticed them now. Funny that. Here they are, it must be spring.

Great turnout for the opening of The Annual Members Juried Show at Art League of New Britain. Juror, Cat Balco. The many works were strong and diverse. I won the Muriel Alvord Ward Award! Thanks to all who turned out. Ms. Balco states: “Keep making art everyone! It’s never been more important.”

It’s so hard to focus right now. Staying positive and productive is hard. I can’t stay optimistic because damn, it feels like everything is collapsing everywhere all at once.

Offering up a small section of a larger work on construction site Adam board with coffee grind base.

Reality is Malleable, 37 x37" on used construction site Ram Board. Three of my Ram Board works are currently exhibiting at Bristol Art Museum, Bristol, RI. thru the first week of April. It's so difficult to paint with the world collapsing around us, but it feels worse not to paint (most days).
