This is just an athletic furry convention.

I am not current, but maybe 10-15 episodes in, it very much feels like OG Dragonball. When your characters fly fly/teleport and all you see are universe-ending threats, you forget how full of wonder their world is. By putting the characters back on a journey, you get to explore the world with them.
