Hello Moo. This is Sox (overlord of this his servants' household.) He is 6. He came to us at 2 & a half having been left to sink or swim by his first family who moved away. He is like many tux's sweet gentle affectionate funny curious & sleepy by turns. Only shows fight when another cat invades.

On duty with events/emergency radio comms back-up (Civil Contingencies Act listed no less!) RAYNET today. Licensed radio Hams in action. Hospice's annual Walk For Life mixes hundreds of walkers with BONKERS drivers who consider they own road. The hi-viz air of "don't start with me!" comes in handy.

Mars revolves slowly on its axis in the wonderful Painted Hall at Greenwich's Old Royal Naval College. Awed visitors. Next week Helios will arrive to fill this space & we'll be at gala launch dinner! But for now we have the Red Planet - which Greenwich's observatory would've seen centuries back.

Met this one a short time ago. Prince. What a sweetie! Beautiful souls, I always think. If we didn't have a beloved but needy (damaged in v early years we think but can't be sure) cat - aee my profile pic - who'd leave & never return, I'd have one of these in a heartbeat.

Not sure he could be more relaxed. He did knock several cards & a small nativity set over into chaos and hour ago but is forgiven!

And here's Sox. Who had to be rescued from a tiled roof we still can't figure out how he got up onto earlier today ...... pathetic miaowing indicating "yes but I'm STUCK!" Safe & sound now.

Minding own business in busy laid back cafe and Prince came to say hello. Rescued greyhound MAGNIFICENT sweet soulful dog. If our cat would tolerate competition I'd have one. Always loved this breed. Gorgeous boy.
