When comparing these figures with the latest deprivation figures published at the end of October, the analysis revealed a strong relationship: the more deprived a local authority, the higher its council tax as a percentage of house prices.

Last week, I chaired my first ever (!) conference in Liverpool for the @ndnatalk.bsky.social . I spent the day introducing speakers, including a minister and representatives from Ofsted, leading Q&As, chatting with those in the early years sector, and asking a few questions myself!

The race for mayor of the West of England however is looking like a close race between the Greens and Labour. Reform and Conservatives not far behind

Department for Education drops PR on "a new model for partnership" in education, bringing together trade unions, key organisations & govt
