We highlight the need to equip both parents and young people to navigate informed conversations about the use of location sharing and digital boundaries in intimate relationships.

The normalisation of location-tracking apps starts, in most cases, in an environment of love and care- in the family home. This technology, however, can enable coercively controlling behaviours in the context of romantic relationships.
