Read. Write. Do Math.
I eat books then rant or rave (sometimes both) about them.
Oh, and I also help write them too.

One of the best lines dealing with grief that I can remember reading. From a Heart So Haunted by Hollie Nelson.

I reread one of my favorite books from years ago in 2025, and found it hit just as hard if not harder.

A book and a treat at my last Christmas exchange for 2025. My friends know me so well.

Reminds me of this one that I read earlier in the year. It focuses more on separating money from religion, but does have some political skewering too. I enjoyed it, but it is like a long rant.

Now I want to rewatch Single All the Way. It's not really a romcom exactly, but it's an M/M seasonal Hallmark type of novella.

Sometimes when too many people tell me to read a book or watch a TV show...I don't. Maybe because I'm stubborn, or maybe because I worry the extra hype will set expectations too high.
Either way, I should have listened and started reading this one a LOT sooner. 💙📚

I'm not even sure how to even rate this one. Without ruining the ending, it did make me angry yell and want to throw the book across the room. But since that was likely the author's intention, and because I liked the rest of the book...I'd actually still recommend it.

Maybe I shouldn't have started building a personal library spreadsheet from mostly the TBR...

You can't choose your family. But for a chance at a million dollars or more, you can choose to handle a lot. Even a cross-country road trip with people you hate.
