Hornet's basic movement without all the power-ups are like a thousand times better than the knight in the original (which only got good with all the power-ups).
Seriously, the controls right from the bat are now perfect in a way that Hollow Knight could never be (again, the power-ups fixed them).

Not just Steam... Team Cherry literally broke all the platforms with their no-preordering shenanigans - and possibly on purpose.
