It's beginning to sound a lot like Advent. Halfway through today's long practice: Advent Carol Service done. A wee taster of my final voluntary attached (Flor Peeters). Now to practise for the morning service and Saturday's wedding.

We usually have afternoon tea on our wedding anniversary but all the tea shops in Norfolk were closed last Monday. So back at Bicester Garden Centre today.

Half way home. Wimpole Hall. Walled Garden worth the visit on its own. Hall will have to wait for another time.

Is this wise?

24 wonderful years. Well, the last three could have been better in many ways, but we did promise 'in sickness' as well as health. Still in love.

Well this wasn't forecast! Unhappy parents: they were due to leave straight after breakfast.

This is what Assistant Directors of Music are for. A happy and at times hilarious afternoon with my lovely ADoM putting up my decorations. Tree not finished, but we needed to do some other 2-person decorating jobs and now out of time.

Actually proving the formula for the volume of a cone made a big impression on me when I was doing my A levels, so I love teaching it. Recent ideas that I want to try with students but have only had the opportunity to share with teachers include using the toy pictured and slicing carrots & apples...
