I'm not from Kentucky so when we moved here, people warned me that when someone says, "I don't care to" when you ask a favor, it means they'll do it, which is the opposite of the literal meaning. This type of twist comes from the Irish roots of many folks who are from Appalachia. Language is cool!

I just assume that anyone who sat out did so for 1 of 2 reasons: a) hating women or b) hating Black folks. Or both of course. Nothing else makes sense.

I really like both, and I like the idea of someone regressing and being worse (instead of better) on their second time around. If not worse then just not giving a damn and being who they wanted to be.

I feel you. I have a 5-cup coffee maker, which is not enough for 2 people to have 2 full cups of coffee. But a 12-cup coffee maker doesn't make coffee that tastes as good.
