Oh for sure - I think the calculation is less about Jeffries and more about if picking that fight hurts with the state level help (or not active obstruction) that he needs.

Personally I wish he'd go all in against Jeffries / the dem establishment, but that might be colored by not being in NYC 🤷♂️

I think long term he has every incentive there, but I can see the calculus in immediately picking that fight now being off. My understanding is that they see the first few months in the mayorship as being vital, and he needs Hochul to deliver. Picking a fight with Jeffries now could sabotage that.

Yeah, it's one that doesn't feel like there's a particularly satisfying ending to me either way.
Which is fine, not all games / stories *need* that satisfying ending, but ... I'm not sure it's what they were going for artistically.

I think the issue with it at the moment is that a lot of other applications have had AI shoved into it in a way that is impossible to really avoid.
The type of survey that I would want to see is more like "deliberately chose to use & like", but how to measure that is ... obviously difficult

There's just so much money in it (not just sports). Huge amounts of spending on facilities just to show them off to prospective students to make it more enticing, contrasted very starkly with visiting friends attending European universities ~10-15 years ago.

Even if you become a kingdom, current GP calculations will be very tough to manage if you aren't blobbing out population wise. It's strange that military / navy don't have any part of the calculation!

Being denied a run for senate strikes me more as the type of thing that fostered resentment and maybe made her more open to trying something different too - like if being loyal to him is resulting in being blocked off from 'advancement', trying to put herself in another MAGA adjacent position might.
