Over the course of 10 days, nine does had 16 kids. Whew! We still have two does due in April, but for now we can take a labor & delivery breather.

We got a few inches of snow here in Eastern Hanover and the yearlings/near-lings are loving it! Nearlings=kids that haven’t had their first birthday ;-)

Moonbeam and Pandora have kissed the trouble-making days of their youth goodbye (for the most part) and have matured into two very solid does. Both will begin their fourth lactations in February.

Only a few more weeks until kidding season begins! Matadequin Cairn’s PixiStik has been a favorite since she was born on our farm in 2023. She had a solid show record as a yearling milker and we can’t wait to see what she gives us in 2025.
