Here are my latest lines from my #WIP. They include what I think may be the most romantic thing I've ever had a male character say to a FMC. #amwriting

We already know he doesn't care about us. The thing about this picture is the person who fainted is a businessman. Rich people, he doesn't care about you either. He doesn't care about anyone except himself. He will screw you over too.

One of the things I despaired about last year was that I'd never find a publishing home for my novel, Christina's Portrait. It touches on themes that would enrage the regime. But I've been sending submissions anyway. I decided not to be afraid to write what I believe. #amquerying #WeeknightWriters

My current work in progress has callbacks to the first novel I self-published, Offline. I make a direct reference in the paragraph shown in the center, but many of the themes, grounded on my observations about corporate life, are repeated. #amwriting #booksky #WeeknightWriters

The current word count of my #WIP. I have some devilishly horrible things in store for my characters. “Bwah, ha, ha, ha!” #booksky

My current #wip isn't a Reseda novel, but I still had to fit the San Fernando Valley in it.

On my brother's web site, www.victoryandreseda.net, he did a story about the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and other great cars of that year. Not coincidentally, a 1970 Barracuda makes an appearance in my current #wip. #WIPSnips #booksky #amwriting

In the passage from my #wip, characters talk about their love of Kenny Loggins. #amwriting #booksky

On International Amiga Day, I'm celebrating what remains my favorite computer. I had an Amiga 500 and used it for writing, planning our wedding, and playing great games. It later inspired my novel Amiga, and it's a part of my #WIP. Here's to a computer that was ahead of its time!

This is for the brave soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom. Not the fascist ghouls who want to take it away.

Death: You wanna rest after a life well lived?
Ruth Buzzi: (Hits him with purse.)
Death: You wanna be remembered for making people laugh?
Ruth: (Hits him with purse.)
Death: You wanna call me an ambulance? (Keels over and falls down.)

Rest in peace, Ruth Buzzi.

Going to the Commodore Los Angeles Super Show to do presentations, sell books, and reconnect with the technology of my youth. I also recovered the first novel I wrote 40 years ago. #WeeknightWriters

To prepare for my presentation at the Commodore LA Super Show, I dug out the first chapters of a novel I wrote for a class at CSUN in 1985. Who was my professor? NYT best-selling author @jewellparkerrhodes.bsky.social! Excellent teacher and author!

Case in point, I’m parked in front of this Model 3 with a “We won’t go back” sticker in the front and “Fight hate” and other pro-humanity stickers on the back. From the license plate, it’s a 2021 model.
