the second part of the story made all of dawntrail feel so disappointing like I'm genuinely so annoyed

7.1 made me intrigued with what they're planning to do but I'm not sure how to feel about it I'm kind of excited but also dreading it 😭

I really liked living memory as an area but overall the entire final part of the story felt so underwhelming sphene being yet another sympathetic antagonist is so tiring and the buildup was so bad 😭 they should've gone down a different route with her character

and the side content is genuinely so good I'm obsessed with the Arcadion Raids

I still adore the themes of section before the final dungeon though it's done very well and I found the final dungeon very good as well its just in general the second portion of the msq is dissappointing

I do like the implications of what they're setting up for though

I feel conflicted honestly I loved the characters and the setting but I have major gripes with the storytelling I don't mind the slow paced introduction to Tural but some of the aspects later on are dissappointing unfortunately :(

but 7.1 and its ending brought back my excitement

I've been getting back into ffxiv again as well if u need help with any of the german equivalents for the localization I could help im thinking of replaying dawntrail with the german localization anyways once I find the time :]
