It has been a long time since I've played either of these. I think I would go more towards FFT, though, at the moment, but watching you play XG recently has made me want to play it again.

I absolutely love remasters/remakes, since it's sometimes much easier to go that route than try to get something like a PS2 and other stuff (space is another thing).. Not saying that the games themselves are bad, as if I had the room, I'd definitely hook mine up and continue playing my collection.
