There is no “natural” path one follows, that’s why there is the choice of free-will. Also inter-sexual beings already exist in nature to an evolution so trans is actually a nature phenomenon. Also many creatures in nature have experienced issues where they believe they are another sex.

The reason they have mental issues is not because their are trans but because how they are treated or see people of trans being treated. Society discourages people to only be a certain way so many times they don’t feel safe to be their authentic self.
