Pour one out for my career as a wind tech, but at least it sounds like solar is still kickin' after the dogshit bill passed with carve-outs for solar.

Solar powered brunch! 2x 250W charges up a 1.5KW battery bank in 3 hrs. Got a couple of bifacial panels for better performance/ indirect sun. Large Foreman grill and induction cooktop used about 25% battery which was back to full in 30min. Burned the eggs😵‍💫

This was a pretty wild job, right at the start of COVID lockdowns. The first day of the job we were hearing rumors of schools closing. By day 3, everything was a ghost town, both at the work site and around town.

Been enjoying the warmer weather (despite the fact that we shouldn't be hitting these temps this early in the year) and climbing at Staunton State Park, CO. The routes around Meadow Dome are the most popular, but Dines Cliff has a lot of great, less crowded, climbing as well. MP link in comment

Just wrapped up teaching a week long SPRAT training and certification course. This crew came all the way from the Bahamas to certify their SPRAT level 2 and all passed their evaluation. Congrats to everyone for passing!

I just started using the Edelrid Eagle Protect rope for lead rope soloing and I'm liking it so far. I used it at Canal Zone, where I often test any new rope solo setup I start using. www.mountainproject.com/route/106210...

The good news: this is the lowest aggregate "honeymoon period" approval rating since those have been a thing

The bad news: how, HOW, is it still barely hanging on in the positive. Any other president, and approval ratings would have fallen off a cliff immediately after the firings
