This happened to me when I played it on the original Xbox as a kid, but not when I played it on PC as an adult.
I'm still not sure why, as I don't usually get motion sick at all from games, aside from some VR games.

The only "discourse" im seeing around the Exp 33 is that it is an amazing game.
I don't generally like turn based combat games(BG3 was an excellent surprise exception), but I am probably going to try it out anyway!

No, but one of my fleetmates did say that after they bought out the event, the claim option was still grayed out.
