My one criticism of an otherwise excellent show is that episodes 1 and 2 are slow and do a lot of setup that isn't paid off until episode 3. I strongly recommend watching the first 3 episodes together.

I guess this depends on why you disliked Cassian. The show is more about the rebellion than about him, but Cassian is the only one with a real character arc (S1 is the story of his radicalization).

There are other PoV characters: a rebel organizer, an imperial officer, and a pro-rebel senator.
