I know. I, and many others, thank you for it. Most of us are running much smaller deficits, but think how much worse we'd feel if we hadn't done what we could.

Joe did the right thing. Unpardoned, Hunter would be facing the white-hot vengeance of Trump's kangaroo justice system. If his name were Hunter Smith, he would have walked away with a slap on the wrist long ago.

Exactly so. Since lying is usually protected under the first amendment, presidential debates should be replaced by parallel examinations under oath, with penalties for perjury.

Agreed. But we're in this mess because of the power of lies: Lies for profit (FOX, etc.) and lies for self-interest (DJT). Trump supporters with an honest opinion about policy should be welcome anywhere, but they tend to be Trump supporters because they swallowed (and spread) lies.
