Cusack delivers a stellar performance in 1408. The film itself feels more like a stretched psychological thriller than horror. Expect cheap jump scares and a runtime that could have used a bit of a trim. Overall Cusack's stellar performance, influenced my final rating. #filmsky #cinema

This movie came out when I was 9 and I have seen it countless times. I saw it once again this evening remastered in IMAX and experiencing it on the biggest screen possible was what I needed. Still an absolute masterpiece, yet I felt like I needed to take a shower after watching. 😜
