You should definitely play the rest of the Colorgrave catalogue before touching Claire though since it kinda wants to put a bow on a lot of story stuff from the last games while teasing a bigger story event coming (hopefully) sooner than later.

I'm gonna suggest some random indies here because I think all the AAA games are basically known at this point. Slots and Daggers is a fun little time sink, not super hard but has good presentation. Strange Antiquities is an interesting logic puzzle-like game, & Claire a la Mode by Colorgrave rules.

As expected, let's be honest.

Honestly I get more of a "time to complete my chores list" vibe than a "I'm gonna go play outside" vibe out of the modern AAA space. Outside of a few exceptions obviously.

Also yes on re-reading I made some very obvious typing errors that I didn't go back and fix. Sue me, I'm already about to be burned at the stake for not thinking Final Fantasy would be better with turn based combat.

You know what I really think is the problem with the new Final Fantasy games? It's that Square Enix doesn't know what the fuck they're dong anymore, especially in regards to Final Fantasy. 14 is about the only one still making waves and even there the cracks are starting to show. /End rant
