I remember when I started my photography training in the 80s with a film camera that film/developing was $$$ for a teenager, so it was about choosing the moment to click and a lot of luck. Now I primarily concentrate on composition. It used to be luck. When you take 4000 pics, there's no luck.

At cons nearly a decade apart, my btother and I have now met the legend John Rhys-Davies, and both chose the same photo to be autographed. My brother got him to sing some G&S, and I chatted him up about Victor/Victoria.

Just drove 6 hours to have breakfast with two of my best friends, and then drive back home another 6 hours. People look at me like I'm crazy when I do things like this. My wife, especially. Anyway here's a pic of the sunrise as I entered Florida this morning.

This was a production of #JesusChristSuperstar where I drove a police car into the theater, arrested Jesus, pushed him into the backseat, and then drove out of the theatre. That's me standing on the car.

Photo from my trip up to Brasstown Bald last weekend. BB is the highest point in the state of GA with some amazing views into North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. If it's a clear, sunny day, it's worth the trip. (Photo 1 is DSLR. 2 & 3 are cell phone.)
