A new CIDRAP review shows that the Avian Flu (H5N1) can be asymptomatic in people 🤯. Covid has really opened a can of worms and at the same time, has brought a lot of new and parallel research about viruses and their effects (both long and short term).

A recent study shows that mask usage in school saves lives as it helps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses.

It may not come as a surprise that this increase of the spread of illnesses happens as the school season begins again. So what can we do to keep each other safe?

It is back to school time, so we are experiencing a large COVID wave, just like we have the previous few years. Although lethality has lowered from initial Covid-19 infections, our infection rates continue to stay high and have even risen to peak...

Infection rates were already rising before the school year started and we just had the largest absolute increase in Covid positivity for the whole U.S. since the OG Omicron outbreak.
