Not trying to absolve that failure to address the issue, but I wonder if part of that might be to do with a Green Party motion that hasn't been debated yet. Not sure how scheduling for this stuff works, but I assume Zack will be more open on this once done.

Given the cutesy aesthetic of the franchise, it's very easy for them to point to the existence of trans fans and not bring up the not insignificant amounts of nazi pony fan art/fanfic, isn't it?

I'm mostly writing this for people struggling in crummy first jobs, using nostalgic comforts of magical girl fiction to make painful topics more bearable. The hero being young captures how bosses make you feel small, but I worry it's a hard sell when YA readers often want aspirational older protags.

I'm early on, still planning layouts and having to rethink a lot since my script didn't really factor in the page composition of shoujo manga, which I think this needs to emulate. The good news is that I am doing lots of fun angles and poses, which make a steep learning curve but look very fun.

I'm working on a magical girl comic about working in retail. Eventually I want to make it into a fully fledged, longer story, but for now I am still learning to draw. I wrote the script for one chapter as a uni dissertation and it was received very well, but I want to bring it to life on the page.

I know Zohran is Liu Bei, Trump is Dong Zhuo and I have not yet finished Three Kingdoms but this encounter just makes me think of Cao Cao desperately trying to get Guan Yu to stay. Let's hope he hands over Red Hare!

It's intimidating given that any new idea one has means learning to draw a new thing, or adjusting to draw everything in a bit of a different style, but I'm determined to get there. People ask me why I don't just work with someone else, but I have to try to do it by my own hand!

Oshii still wants to make another one, but I heard it relies on Innocence breaking even which is... not hopeful for the near future, from what I recall. Still, it's not impossible! Stranger things have happened, right?

Personally I enjoy just about all designs barring Kuvshinov's, but that's because who the Major is and her perspective on her existence differ pretty significantly between versions and I think most designs capture their Major relatively well.

I mean the original manga has pages and pages of notes explaining context and what's going on where he doesn't want to slow down, he's absolutely the kind of guy to draw some visual representation of an abstract concept with a tangled red hologram and go "yeah that's about right"

This looks to me very much like Masamune Shirow's work; he loves to integrate CG into his drawings in a way that looks rather uncanny, whether that's intentional or not. I wouldn't mind betting that the weird red glow at her nape is a visualisation of something like blocking a ghost hacking or smth.

It's quite alright! I know tensions are very high right now but hadn't heard about all that, wow! Zack Polanski (head of our Greens) is often compared to Zohran Mamdani and is taking the fight to Farage and Reform.

My granny tried to make me eat *peas* off the back of my fork. She wasn't fancy, she was a working class lady from Wolverhampton - as far as I can tell this is just part of the mad bid for upward social mobility instilled in that generation in the postwar years.

I'd like to add that my first thought upon seeing this was to think "oh, cute horse", so I smiled and said "evening :) :)" but it was less than a second later that they started going for us. I don't think anything I said or did was the trigger, other than simply *exist*.
