Reunion with Hal Tasaki in Garching
It was an incredible luck for me that he gave a short but comprehensive course on “Haldane gap” at Japanese Condensed Matter Physics Summer School in 1990, when I just started my graduate study. Much of my works including SPT and LSM originated from there!
