My Hiryu headcanon is that he is actually a sweetiepie but he was broken by trauma, abandonment and loneliness. Bro doesn't love himself enough either. I feel that if he had a choice he actually would not have chosen Strider hood but he feels obligation to it. He was essentially a child soldier💔
