I would never have found cycling without Channel 4’s highlights back in the 80s, which we watched at the family dinner table, and I’ve watched ever since. Without free-to-air coverage of the #tdf, fewer people will stumble across cycling and come to love it. I think that’s really sad for the sport.

It’s top tier entertainment, I love it, and I’m sure I would be no better at picking out the Traitors myself. Just fascinating how a group of intelligent people can jump on the tiniest little thing to convince themselves of something completely false. #TheTraitors

I always assumed this was down to technical problems rather than a deliberate choice not to open more tills.

The story is SO GOOD, which makes it even worse. I don’t care about having to redo the gameplay (I am never going to get gold on RDR2 anyway), but I was so caught up in it that this feels like someone yanked the novel I was reading out of my hands.

Lola thinks they are exciting toys which can be eaten when she’s finished playing with them. Then afterwards she tries to lick my face. 🤢

Thoroughly enjoyed sharing this journey, especially having travelled some adjacent paths on my European interrail trip in July. Swiss trains are incomparably good (and they even have excellent rail replacement buses). Thank you!

Oh dear god. I have a sinking feeling the LW will interpret “do not inveigle yourself into a friendship with them just so you can tell them what you think is wrong with their marriage” as definitely DO do that.
