I think they are telling him he’s not there… but he is. I think after losing the elections, clearly having dementia, and going ballistic against MTG, he’s the sacrificial lamb to save the GOP. Vance and Johnson move into POTUS/VP roles. Everyone, including establishment GOP is happy when he’s gone.

He’s trying to keep his disapproval numbers from skyrocketing. Republicans are getting ready to turn on him and, after losing the elections horribly + Epstein, his only hope is approval ratings
