I don’t doubt that it was over $100 million. Also, there’s the cost of cancelling the Sonic contract and cancelling the super lab. Contracts had to be paid out and companies compensated. Well over $160 million, I’m sure.

This is so bizarre. They drive through customs to get into Canada and then keep driving to get into another province. They don't drive through another customs, and they think that they are in a different country? Do they think that NS, NFLD and QUE have some kind of Eurozone agreement with Canada?

I didn’t know that Gabapentin could be used for that. My dog was on it as one of his medications for epilepsy. I hope that you find something that works better for you.

I grew up in Northern AB. Some of my earliest memories are of when the Oilers were in their dynasty period. He was on my cereal box. The Oilers are still the team that I cheer for. Gretzky had god-like status in Edmonton. This year has shattered that for a lot of people.

I visited the Normandy American Cemetery in France. It was very moving. What these brave souls did and endured is just incredible.

Of course the American contribution was huge on D-day and afterwards. The USA soldiers and those who were at home also contributing to the war effort have my utmost respect. The rhetoric that the USA “won the war” and did everything from some can be tiresome though.

Canadian here. Healthcare costs are mostly covered by our tax dollars but some things are not listed services. Things like ambulance rides… there is private insurance to cover the costs of extras unless you qualify for exemptions. What is covered varies from province to province.

Money. The USA’s population is many times that of Canada. It’s easier to support a hockey team when the average city has a way higher population.
