The injured party is a male in his 40s. Unfortunately, he suffered severe burns to approximately 40 percent of his body. He was transported immediately to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett for treatment. His current condition is unknown.

The homeowner determined that the fire was in an occupied bedroom. The homeowner was able to extinguish the fire and move the occupant to a safe location until aid arrived.
