Well that was a blast! Thanks to all in Newton Aycliffe today! Theme was core kata and combative principles - common to all kata - as illustrated by the Pinan / Heian series. We got lots covered thanks to the high energy of all present. You did yourselves proud!

Day 2 of the residental done! Fire alarm in the early morning, but all plain sailing after that! Seipai, joint locks, turning hands, disrupting structure, Nipaipo, trapping, bunkai on the pads and more! It’s been great!
